Snow Week Bake: Honey Bread (Easy)
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp oil or melted butter
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: banana slices or cinnamon
Steps
- Heat oven to 350°F. Grease a small loaf pan or muffin tin.
- Mix dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt).
- Mix wet ingredients (honey, milk, egg, oil/butter).
- Combine wet + dry. Stir gently.
- Bake 18–25 min (muffins faster; loaf longer) until a toothpick comes out clean.
Math tie-in: double/halve the recipe. Science tie-in: baking powder makes bubbles (gas) that lift the batter.
